1. Dushanbe
Arrival: Airport transfers to your hotel accommodation. We will join you for lunch in a national restaurant. A city tour will take in Dusty square and Tajikistan National Museum. You will meet our support team and become familiar with your motorcycles. A group dinner will complete the day then you return to your hotel.
2. Dushanbe -Iskandar Kol - Dushanbe. 260 km rental in Tajikistan Pamir
Your motorcycles will be waiting for you to start your Pamir trip! We will ride on the road M34 leading from Dushanbe to Khujand which lifts us up to the Anzob pass where we will pass through the Anzob 5 kilometers tunnel. Five kilometers of this very dark tunnel and cold tickle the nerves of even the most daring riders! By noon we arrive at the Iskandar Kol. A small part of the route will pass through mountain trails which will provide the opportunity to see small Tajik villages (kishlaks in local language) distant from mainstream civilization. We will arrive at the alpine lake where we have lunch and beautiful view of the mountain lake . Then we return to Dushanbe along the same route where you will see other views of mountains. 3. Dushanbe - Qal'ai Khumb. 360 km Motorcycle tour and rental in Tajikistan Pamir
Our Pamir motorcycle adventure will head to the southern side of Tajikistan – Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous province. We will get very close to Afghanistan and follow its border where the Panj River will separate us only by tens of meters from Afghan villages. Local people still live there the same way they used to hundreds of years ago. We will perform traditional washing fun ritual under Ali mountain waterfall on motorbikes, which is cascading 40 meters down the rock. We will arrive at Qal'ai Khumb kishlak (village) by the end of the day. Guesthouse accommodation.
4. Qal'ai Khumb – Khorog. 280 km
Today we will go through the legendary Pamir highway (M41) on our motorbikes. The highway was built in the 1930’s during USSR times in order to develop the Pamir area. It is one of the most unique mountain roads in the world that goes through such forbidding terrain. We are going to visit several Tajikistan kishlaks, where local people, especially local kids, will welcome you gladly with heart-warming handshakes and entertain you while offering different fruits. Arrive in Khorog town. Hotel accommodation.
5. Khorog.
Day off and acclimatization period. Take your time. You can visit town and local bazaar.
The day will be finished with dinner at a local restaurant. Guesthouse. Overnight Hotel.
6. Khorog– Bibi Fatima hot springs (Yamchun). 180 km
We resume riding our motorbikes along the Pamir highway with only the Panj River separating us from Afghanistan. We will climb over Yamchun Fort and reach 3,200 meters altitude. Here we are going to catch an amazing view of Afghanistan valley at Wakhan Corridor and swim in the sacred waters of wonderful Bib Fatima hot spring. 7. Bibi Fatima hot springs(Yamchun) – Murgab. 260 km
Today we will reach Murgab kishlak – the heart of the high-mountains in Pamir. We won’t go down below 4,000 meters above sea level. Most of the way will be following mountain trails. Hargush (4,344 m) and Nayzatash (4,137 m) mountain passes, as well as the endless Alichur grassed valley with a lot of yaks and yurts. By the end of the day we will reach Murgab - the highest kishlak on Pamir. Hotel accommodation.
8. Murgab - Ak Baital pass (4655 m) – Murgab. 150 km
Today will require an early start as we continue our Pamir motorbike tour! Be ready to go up to the highest mountain pass of ex USSR and Central Asia – Ak Baital mountain pass, 4,655 meters high. We will go over the most rugged mountains of Pamir. Ak Baital pass is the highest point of our route. We then return to Murgab. Hotel accommodation.Motorcycle tour and rental in Tajikistan Pamir
9. Murgab – Khorog. 311 km
Today we turn back toward Dushanbe using different roads to those used on previous days. Our ride to Khorog will be on another section of the Pamir Highway and we will ride through mountain passes such as Nayzatash (4,314 m), Kok-Tezek (4,272 m). In the evening we arrive in Khorog. Hotel accommodation.
10. Khorog - Qal'ai Khumb. 280 km.
Today we will ride our bikes back along the legendary Pamir Highway taking care to ride this challenging section with loose surface. In the evening arrival in Qal'ai Khumb . Guesthouse accommodation.
11. Qal'ai Khumb – Dushanbe. 360 km
Today you return to Dushanbe along the same road, but believe me, you will see completely different fantastic mountain landscapes that will open after each new turn.
In the evening, a festive dinner at the restaurant! We play, we have fun! Hotel accommodation.
12. Dushanbe
